There are many types of exercises: mobility exercises, strengthening exercises, muscle control exercises, proprioception exercises (body awareness), balance exercises, and cardiorespiratory exercises.

Each type of exercise provides different benefits. During your assessment, the physiotherapist will target your specific needs and prescribe customized exercises based on your condition and goals.

This will empower you to take control of your rehabilitation at home. The exercises will help stimulate and expedite your recovery, impacting pain, strength, function, and/or mobility.

As you progress in your rehabilitation, the exercises will be advanced to continually suit your condition. Whether you are a casual exerciser or an athlete, exercises are an essential ally in your recovery.
