Sylvie Matte

Sylvie Matte, acupuncturist, graduated in 1994. She completed a post-graduate internship in 1994 at the renowned Nanjing Institute of Chinese Medicine in China. She has been a member of the Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Québec since 1995.

Sylvie provides personalized treatments, taking into account the physical, physiological, emotional, and environmental dimensions. She listens attentively so that her patients can be assessed and treated with accuracy, and rigor.

She particularly specializes in treating hormonal imbalances that arise throughout women’s lives, such as menstrual problems, fertility, pregnancy, and menopause. Her extensive clinical experience at Physiothérapie Boisbriand (2001) has allowed her to develop great skill in treating both acute and chronic pain.

Sylvie continues to enhance her knowledge by staying up to date with the latest approaches including traditional chinese as well as the scientific data.
