Occupationnal therapist wanted.

Occupationnal therapist wanted.

We have two positions available within our occupational therapy team:

  • One position in musculoskeletal therapy;
  • One position in mental health.

Physiothérapie Boisbriand has been well-established in Boisbriand since 1989. We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of over 25 therapists. We all work collaboratively to prioritize patient needs and find the best solutions to assist them. We also emphasize work-life balance.

We are fortunate to have the collaboration and training of our two specialist physicians, an orthopedic surgeon, and a physiatrist.

For the musculoskeletal position, the primary responsibility is to treat a clientele mainly consisting of CNESST/SAAQ/Private cases with physical issues.

  • Progressive onboarding: The first week will be dedicated to 100% observation and training with experienced occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
  • Individual time with the chief occupational therapist once a day during the initial weeks.
  • CNESST/SAAQ clientele: a formula of 3 patients per hour (2-1-2-1).
  • We offer 60-minute training sessions per week for advanced hand therapy with Peter Korkmaz, occupational therapist, and CHT. You will be ready to handle such cases by your second year of service.

  • We offer you the opportunity to learn more about the biomechanical approach through four courses provided by our physiotherapy team.

The position in mental health involves treating patients primarily dealing with mental health issues, such as major depression. In most cases, this is done through contracts with external interveners (CNESST/SAAQ/Private insurers).

  • Training with an occupational therapist who has several years of experience in chronic pain and mental health.
  • Flexible schedule according to your availability.
  • Possibility of hybrid work (in the clinic and telecommuting).

Advantages for both positions:

  • Highly competitive compensation;
  • Training course budget ($1500 for full-time positions);
  • Group insurance, including medical and dental coverage. Available based on the number of hours worked;
  • Hiring bonus;
  • Dynamic work environment;
  • Flexible schedule, full-time, part-time, day, and/or evening;
  • Special employee pricing for treatments at the clinic;
  • Shared lunchtime, common meal hours.

Opportunity for a candidate to take on both positions if interested.
